Journey
STEP 1
Get Matched to a Clinical Trial
Contact M1 Health or complete an initial application for a specific study. An enrollment specialist can help you determine if you are eligible for a trial based on your medical history, current health status, and any medications you are currently taking.
STEP 2
Screening
After getting matched to a trial, a trial coordinator will work with you to complete a full screening to confirm eligibility. This may include physical tests and diagnostic testing to determine eligibility.
STEP 3
Informed Consent
After confirming eligibility, you will be provided with all the information about the study, including its purpose, procedures, potential risks and benefits, and your right to withdraw at any time. Patients must also sign a consent form indicating that they understand the information provided and agree to participate in the study.
STEP 4
Treatment
Here patients will begin receiving the actual therapy. This can entail ingesting new medication, getting injections, or having procedures. The research team closely monitors the study’s treatment phase in order to monitor patient safety.
STEP 5
Follow up Assessments
Patients are routinely observed during the study’s treatment and follow up phase to gauge their reaction to the medication and spot any potential negative effects. Depending on the needs of the study, follow-up evaluations could involve additional physical examinations, blood tests, imaging scans, and other testing.
